Booking phases

A booking phase is computed from the booking’s status, dates, supplier confirmations, and payments. It is not a separate status that you manually advance. The booking detail page shows the current phase, next actions, and a progress timeline.

The current phase list is:

• AwaitingSupplierConfirmation — the booking exists and suppliers still need to confirm.
• AwaitingDeposit — suppliers are confirmed and the client deposit is outstanding.
• AwaitingBalance — the deposit is received and the remaining client balance is due.
• PreTravel — the trip is within the pre-travel window and supplier reconfirmation is needed.
• ReadyForTravel — confirmed, paid, and reconfirmed for travel.
• InProgress — the guest is between check-in and check-out.
• PostTravel — travel is complete and supplier payments still need settlement.
• Completed — travel and supplier settlement are complete.
• Cancelled — the booking was cancelled.

Open a booking from Bookings and use the phase banner and next-action list to choose the next task. The phase can change when a payment is recorded, a supplier confirmation is captured, or travel dates pass. A booking with several properties may remain partially confirmed until each relevant supplier line is handled.

Treat the phase as an operational prompt, not a replacement for reading the line-level details. Financials, Suppliers, Documentation, and History tabs provide the evidence behind the computed phase.
