Revision quotes

A revision quote is a proposed change linked to a live booking. Use it when the client asks to change dates, services, occupancy, or other material itinerary details after the original quote has become a booking.

1. Open the booking and review its current lines, payments, confirmations, and travel dates.
2. Start the revision quote from the booking workflow and make the requested changes.
3. Price the revised lines against current published rates. Keep the original booking amount visible while you compare the change.
4. Send the revision for client approval rather than changing the live booking immediately.
5. Apply the revision after acceptance, or discard it when the client declines.

While a revision is under review, the booking displays an Under Review banner. Editing and payment actions are restricted until the revision is applied or discarded. Use the link in the banner to open the revision quote, and record why the change was requested in the operational conversation.

A revision should preserve an audit trail: the original booking, the proposed quote, and the eventual decision. Recheck supplier confirmations and invoices after applying an accepted revision, especially when dates, property lines, or amounts changed. If a revision is discarded, the original booking remains the working record.
